“Jackpot hotel in Penticton”

I stayed with my crew at this hotel, no doubt it is newly renovated and has brand new rooms, daym! it was a big surprise, these guys for sure, over delivered for what we paid to stay there, will always come back here whenever we are in town

“Nice and Cozy”

I stayed there with my family in January and liked the location and newly renovated rooms. I looked how they have maintained the cleanliness and superb customer service. Good value for the dollar.

Great stay for a couple’s getaway! The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. We also loved the convenient location near the lake and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Walking in to our second floor King Suite we were overwhelmed with the scent of cleaner to the point I didn't know if I would be able to stay. Walking in to our second floor King Suite we were overwhelmed with the scent of cleaner to the point I didn't know if I would be able to stay. We had to open the windows and door for a few hours to get rid of the smell. The furniture was fine what there was of it. The bed was comfortable enough but the bedding was not quite up to the standards I have come to expect from a Coast Hotel but maybe this is because this is actually a motel, not a hotel. The overhead lighting is so harsh with no alternative side or floor lamps to use instead. The suite was huge with very little furniture in it - no desk. There is a kitchenette but no table to sit at. It is not stocked with much, the two coffee cups looked very lonely in their drawer. I haven't stayed anywhere for years where the fan is still connected to the bathroom light switch and I haven't missed it. Absolutely nowhere to store or hang clothes and not even a chair in the bedroom to drape them over. Why have a closet with no shelves or a rail to hang clothes?? If this were advertised as a budget Coast Motel it might be viewed as decent value for the money, but calling it a hotel does it a disservice. I will say that the front desk people were friendly when we checked in and when we went to get a kettle. There is no telephone in the room. I appreciated the full sized fridge as we were travelling with food and it was hot outside. The shower was fine and it was nice to have a tub. I liked being able to sign in to my Netflix account but I could not see any other options for TV beyond Youtube. When we paid at check in, they were having issues with one of their machines and had to use the Super 8 Motel one - which might go some way to explaining this place. When we checked out I asked how long they had been a Coast thinking that improvements must be on the way, but they told me about a year. It has clearly been renovated, and it looks okay if you don't look at the finishes too closely. I don't know the Penticton area well enough to know if this is a good budget option. I have travelled a lot for work and have stayed in several different Coast properties and will continue to do so. This particular one is not for me, but if you know what to expect you might find it okay.
