I recently stayed at the Glasgow Cumbernauld Travelodge and was genuinely impressed by how comfortable and convenient the experience was. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything I needed. One of the first things I noticed at reception was the thoughtful little touches that made the place feel more welcoming. There were fresh flowers displayed, which added a really pleasant atmosphere to the entrance area, and I also noticed that dog treats were available at the desk — a lovely detail for guests travelling with pets. It showed that the staff go the extra mile to make both guests and their furry companions feel welcome The room itself was clean, spacious, and well maintained. The bed was particularly comfortable — exactly what you want after a long day travelling or exploring the area. Everything in the room worked perfectly, including the shower, heating, and Wi-Fi, which made the stay very relaxing and hassle-free. The only small downside during my stay was that there wasn’t a vending machine available, which would have been handy for grabbing a quick snack or drink late at night. Despite being a budget hotel, it offered excellent value for money. The whole place felt tidy, safe, and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and pleasant. It’s clear the staff take pride in keeping the hotel running smoothly. Overall, I had a very positive experience staying at the Glasgow Cumbernauld Travelodge. If you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable, and well-located place to stay near Glasgow, I would definitely recommend it. I’d happily stay here again on my next visit to the area.

There is a lady in this hotel. Her name is Victoria she was so kind. So professional. So receptive, she told me from the very beginning I can buy ice and she will store it for me. She gave me options to order food and even told me there is a convenient store nearby that delivers groceries. She came to my door when the food arrived. She is everything the word “ Hospitality “ means. Travelodge is very much lucky to have her. And with staffs like this I can guarantee you that you will have a lovely stay here with adequate support. My wife and I made the booking at the last minute as we had been given notice that her elderly mother was very ill and living over 200 miles away we had to work quickly to get to Mum’s bedside. We booked through the app which was really easy and as it happened excellent value for money. The room we had was acts family room and was spotlessly clean. The bed was clean and comfortable with a choice of pillows . The bathroom was ideal with a walk-in shower that had shower gel in a handy dispenser. The towels were plentiful and fresh. We have already booked 3 rooms for our family group of 6 adults and 4 children for an overnight stay on 13 February. The hotel is handily located just off the A80 and is near the Broadwood sports stadium.
