Checkout was just as efficient—we simply dropped the room card into a box, saving time and avoiding any hassle. A seamless and impressive stay overall.

The check-in was okay, as with a few hotels nowadays it is done through a terminal, which can be confusing sometimes, but we were helped by staff if we had questions. The hotel is very close to the airport, and directly next to a train station, so convenient for travellers, and the parking beneath… Plus

The check-in was okay, as with a few hotels nowadays it is done through a terminal, which can be confusing sometimes, but we were helped by staff if we had questions. The hotel is very close to the airport, and directly next to a train station, so convenient for travellers, and the parking beneath is also very handy. The rooms were designed quite interestingly, with the bathroom split in two with only one glass door for either the shower or the toilet, and the sink was in the hallway by the bed. It was quite clean, which is a positive and the bed was decently comfortable too, with a TV mounted on the wall with a good range of channels and good quality. The room we had featured a large window, but people living in the apartment blocks nearby could look in, so we had to close the curtains all the time. The Bar area downstairs in the lobby was good, with a few places to sit and have a drink, however it was unfortunate that the night we were there a fire alarm kept going off for at least 45 minutes, and the only staff on duty was overwhelmed by trying to solve that issue, handing out drinks to guests and help with other things. Overall, it is not a bad place to stay, however I only recommend a night.

Does its job, a clean bed close to the airport. And a supermarket next door for all your eating and drinking needs. BUT - takes minimalism to an extreme, beginning with machine check in - fortunately a person in the bar was able to help as the technology is far less efficient than a person - given that it only takes yes or no as an answer which, when dealing with non-EU citizens, creates issues. Minimalism in room means no coffee maker, four coat hangars, no wardrobe, no desk, ONE door which doubles as shower door and as the door to bathroom (and is smoked glass), and a bedside shelf about 6" by a foot, which means no room for a laptop, or a CPAP machine. Plugs are the NEW Swiss three pin, so I needed to go to the Coop next door to get an adapter as the old Swiss two pin pugs no longer fit these modern sockets. Also, A/C DID NOT WORK, on one of the hottest days of year. Finally, advance requests to hotel about best way to get to airport with lots of luggage talked about changing trains etc, yet there is a non-stop bus for 3 euros from about 100 yds away every 10 minutes, and Uber was only 12 Euros. This was not mentioned to me - surprising how these little customer service things are missed by the Swiss in general leading to and overall view of Switzerland being a very poor value for money country as a tourist.
