Hyde Park, c'est le parc le plus grand de la ville. Il est d'ailleurs considéré comme étant le poumon de la ville. Reconnu parc public depuis le XVIIème siècle, il est devenu le lieu emblématique des concerts et des manifestations. Vous passerez également sans doute à côté de l'impressionnante statue de la défunte Diana de Galles.

Candem Town est un incontournable à ne pas manquer lors de votre escapade à Londres. Le quartier est célèbre pour son marché spectaculaire, son atmosphère alternative et ses maisons victoriennes. Portobello Road, l’une des rues mythiques du quartier de Notting Hill dans laquelle se tient chaque samedi l’un des marchés les plus célèbres de la capitale. Le marché populaire a été créé au début du XIXe siècle et se caractérise par ses étals pittoresques d’antiquités et de vêtements d’occasion.

Continue to St Paul’s Cathedral, which was built in the rare and shortlived English baroque style. Marvel at the meticulous mosaics that decorate the choir or test the acoustics of the Whispering Gallery.

The Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace is one of those quintessentially British events, an aweinspiring ceremony endowed with pageantry, pomp and circumstance. Head to the Tower of London, where the legendary Beefeaters regale visitors with tales about the former ‘guests’, the resident ravens and the headless ghost that is said to haunt the fortress.

During the Tower of London's 1000year history, this impressive fortress has been a Royal Palace, prison, mint and even a zoo! Be dazzled by the Cullinan diamonds and the spectacular Kohi–i–Noor at the Crown Jewels. Join a Yeoman Warder (‘Beefeater’) for an exclusive and very different view of the famous Tower of London on this guided tour. You will hear the story of the peasants’ revolt and attack on the Tower of 1381, the military cunning used to ensure the safety of the Monarch within, and how the Tower’s very architecture protects it from attack.

The Changing of the Guard may not take place under adverse weather conditions. If this occurs we will visit the Horse Guards for a photo stop instead.
